Katherine yields nearly two decades of
experience in the real estate industry. She epitomizes integrity,
energy, hard work, and creative service, in every detail of your real
estate transaction. She started as a Salesperson in 2006 with focus on
income and multi-residential properties. She spent the next 6 years
with the Ontario Government appraising and negotiating the purchase of
lands required for highway improvements. She returned to full-time real
estate sales in fall 2019.
Since 2019 she has been designated as a Residential Appraiser (CRA P.App).
Katherine is also a Right of Way Agent with the IRWA. Many years ago,
she graduated from the Uof G with a degree in Landscape Architecture.
Her experience in both the public and private sectors along with her
extensive negotiation skills enables Katherine to be a skillful and calm
communicator. She continues to be effective while maintaining
relationships with all stakeholders.
When not working, Katherine can be found out on a hike or ski with
friends. She enjoys the sound of a great music playlist, time with her 3
grown kids, practicing yoga and spending time outdoors.
As a committed supporter of our local community, she contributes by
being an active volunteer with the local alpine ski community, currently
she sits on the Committee of Adjustment for the Municipality of Oliver
Paipoonge. Previously she was a Board Member of the Thunder Bay Chamber
of Commerce, Thunder Bay Art Gallery and the Thunder Bay Chapter of the
Appraisal institute of Canada.
Katherine has worked in every aspect of the property industry
representing sellers, buyers, investors, landowners with easements on
their properties, and those affected by public expropriation.
